Commonwealth is not Olympiad

India, the second nation to cross 1 billion mark in population. Powered by vast human resources and Clustered with vivid cultures. Skills in every aspect are being appreciated around the world. Stop! Don’t go flown on skies and pat your backs, we are still backward in sports. We were the Lions in Olympics when hockey drew the nation wild with the winning spree of 7 Gold medals and other Gold medal after a gap of 16 years. During the course of time hockey has diminished a lot in public. Its not the game hockey in the focus here, all other sports are being ignored except cricket and Sania in Tennis. Cricket crazy India bowled to watch at work, hits the traffic, drinks coke, and wakes everyone with crackers,, cricket goes on. Our Media portrays headlines like – Sachin has lost concentration, Should Ganguly be sacked !

Criticizing Media is easy, when we go deep down and think how many of us do watch commonwealth or Asiad, When it is going live on National Telly whilst India is doing good? We are the culprits, who claim to love the country for its ongoing success. Importance and promotion of every game is hard hitting point, which needs greater attention rather than blaming the participants in Indian counterpart. Another big issue is - How well is the government providing infrastructure to support other games. To give you an example – City like Bangalore, which is prospering well in IT and BPO sector does consists of hell lot of Cricket clubs and grand stadium for Cricket but when we wander to look for other games, you can realistically count the clubs and venues and thanks for the last national games which provided a good venue like Kanteerava Stadium for many categories of sports. Does just a single stadium is enough for other sports to flourish. I really don’t blame the contestants from India who do put their best in Olympics performing outsite the country, in spite of poor facilities and training. Its pity that after not attaining a single gold from ages in Olympics, we are not gaining the throttle from this age-old coma. To give a count on gold medals that India has secured till now…, Its heart threatening count, we are less than 10, we are not in double figures.

If we take ratio of Winning medals in Commonwealth/Asiad with Olympics, it’s around 70:2. Propagation of Winning scale in Commonwealth/Asiad in Olympics is need of the hour. Winning in Commonwealth/Asia is not the end of story, Competition lies where others are getting superior.
Brand India as Global sports stamp is very close; it needs our strength, infrastructure and importance.

MiG - Mighty

Almighty Aviation industry needs sacrifice for growth and innovation. Indian pilots are being sacrificed every now and then in the name of corrupt bureaucracy. A total of more than 160 Indian Air Force pilots have been killed in crashes flying MiG fighter jets. This count is from 1971 to 72 and 2004 to 2006. Not only pilots are being beheaded, innocent civilians are forced to give lives in split seconds. Crashes have yielded a loss of $400 million in these periods.

Some of the causes given to press by Authorities are: due to birds or pilot’s negligence or pilot’s lack of skill. Technical faults are being covered-up drastically. If analyzed down the line of our memories, how many airline crashes have we heard due to birds or the fowls interference. If you compare the density of air traffic of commercial airlines and regular exercise flights, there are more MiG crashes in regular exercise flights than commercial air routines.
Coming to negligence or lack of skill is really joke, 2 to 3 crashes are acceptable due to this reason, but I imagine pilots go through rigorous training wherein they are trained to take decisions in mil-seconds. We are spending billions of dollars in purchasing fighter planes like these. Why aren’t we thriving ourselves to produce those in-house. Indian Pilots are valuable resources and have very less service span. They need to be preserved skilfully for their service in disaster situations. We can easily justify by now that – these crashes are due technical reasons, not because of flying skills.

Mr Vladimir Barkovsky, the Deputy Chief Designer of MiG Corporation once had raised the issue as - the delay in the induction of indigenous intermediate jet trainer by India was the main cause of the high accident rate of MiG-21s.

I am compiling an article in one of journal to brief on the tests conducted for MiG few years back, which is as follows:

LIMA - A MiG-29 jet crashed Tuesday as it was being tested to see if it was obsolete and part of a scheme by disgraced Vladimiro Montesinos to steal millions of dollars. A congressional commission ordered the tests after reports that Montesinos ordered the jets in the early 1990s and Russia Belarus as part of a scam in which he siphoned off $48 million from the deals. There have been numerous reports that the planes were in poor shape when they were bought. The military initially blamed the accident on a bird strike, but congressional observers, who were only a couple of hundred yards from where the plane went down, said the crash was due to technical problems. The military later acknowledged the planes have had technical difficulties.

Why are our authorities not taking serious steps to eradicate this ritual of sacrificing pilots ?

Future Music

Human Being can't just live on food, they aren't here to dwell and multiply like other living creatures. Activities and socializing have greater importance from birth to their expiry dates.
In day to day life he comes across all sorts of energies in many forms like heat, sound etc., sounds are generated from natural sources to his own creations. Music is one such subset of sound energy which pleases the brain. So whats linking music and brain. This is like the question that many scholars to institutions have not answered as to why people pursue arts at all.

Can this energy be felt without external sources ? In precise, enjoying the essence of music without speakers, ear plugs or other external devices. Is there anyway we can make a pill which can induce alternate music in our body or like a pacemaker micro devices installed in our body , which can produce the sound without even disturbing other organs except our ear drums ?
Can this device store audio files or can act as decoders when they come in contact with other transmitting devices ?

If such kind of technology is ever invented in future, forget about handsfree or mobiles, it will be a revolution for current human society, which has no time to fiddle with multiple gadgets and society is in search of normalizing such functions

Varanasi Terror

Make people kill, horrified, afraid, stressful, and think about it all the time is the word – terror. Terrorism is not ongoing phenomenon, its there from ancient time. It’s the civilization(s) dark side, which is pursuit towards existence of human kind. When you quantify or degree the offenders, terrorism has the highest level of degree. Can it be stopped? - No, is the harsh and factual answer.

We are the people who are acting as catalyst to mutate this process. Impact of attacks made to first world countries can be recovered but developing nation like India, its really tough to cope up being in hazardous atmosphere containing corruption, adulterated bureaucracy and huge population. Attacking a nation, which is gathering its pieces after the independence and trying to act as a substratum for global economy is forcing this civilization towards the cold age, which reflects the end of human society.

Recent blasts in Delhi and Varanasi have made Indians to look back into security measures but on a positive side this has shown the integrity among Hindu and Muslim communities. Going decades is mad, few years back,,, cant forget the massacre – Burning of Train incidence wherein Hindu activists and innocents died. Followed by huge loss of Muslim communities, which spread the fire all over the country. After moths of this barbaric incident has given lessons to all the Greater Hindus and Muslims. Varanasi attacks has backfired the terrorists, who want to bring back their glory in making people to feel the punch of terror.
May be the pace of development seen today in India doesn’t lie in acceptable limits, but I am proud to be a citizen of nation where people thoughts are developing and maturing to nurture the future
